Augusta University announces top givers for IGIVE fundraising campaign

Augusta University employees turned out in force for this year's IGIVE campaign.

The goal of Augusta University’s annual IGIVE employee giving campaign this year focused on imagining what can be accomplished when we all work together.

Thousands of AU employees showed their Jaguar pride in supporting the campaign by giving a gift, but over 30 departments went above and beyond with 100% of their staff giving to the campaign.

Deborah Vaughn, vice president for development in the Office of Advancement at AU, says this year’s IGIVE Campaign rose from 24% last year to 29%, and she expresses how the increase in participation speaks to the employees’ dedication to the work being done at AU.

“I would like to extend my personal thanks to the many employees who stepped forward in a show of solidarity and support,” said Vaughn. “When our employees give back, it advances our efforts with community funders, who are interested to know how we are supporting our top priorities, our students and our patients.”
