AU senior closes collegiate career with national title

The men’s golf team at Augusta University recently competed in its 13th NCAA Championships, and although the Jaguars didn’t win like they have in the past, a senior Jag took home the individual 2018 NCAA National Champion title. The win was featured in The New York Times, ESPN, Associated Press and dozens of other media outlets across the country.

Broc Everett, a senior at Augusta University, earned his first collegiate tournament win by beating out Auburn University’s Brandon Mancheno on the first playoff hole at Karsten Creek Golf Club in Stillwater, Okla.

Everett missed a 10-foot birdie putt to win in regulation.

“I was fortunate to get another chance — and a good look,” said Everett.
