Police chief talks campus carry

A new bill allowing students to carry concealed weapons on college campuses in Georgia takes effect on Saturday.

There’s information and guidance available from the University System of Georgia, Augusta University Police Chief Jim Lyon says. Town hall forums will also be scheduled for police to talk with students, faculty and staff about the new law. Watch for updates on Jagwire.
