The Office of Volunteer Services & Community Engagement at Augusta University will be celebrating the AU volunteer family during the 2021 National Volunteer Appreciation Week from April 19-23.
This virtual week-long celebration kicks off with a thank you message from AU leadership, showing appreciation for the people who have given their time, talent, voice, and support to Augusta University this past year. The entire AU volunteer family has demonstrated how virtual and in-person service can bring people together and help to create change and strengthen our community.
This week’s celebration includes virtual engagement, such as Virtual Bingo Night and a chance to see our AU volunteer family face-to-face during the volunteer appreciation drive-thru. We miss our volunteers and look forward to celebrating all of the hard work they have contributed during this challenging year. Invite-only events are planned this week to show appreciation to our outstanding AU volunteers:
Tuesday, April 20: 2021 Spirit of Service Scholarship and BINGO Night
Wednesday, April 21: Virtual Volunteer Service Impact and Facebook Puzzle Games
Thursday, April 22: Volunteer Appreciation Drive-Thru
Friday, April 23: AU Volunteer Week Celebration Wrap-up
