Applications open for summer youth virtual volunteer program

Augusta University’s Future Focused Summer Youth Virtual Volunteer Program is now open for applications.

During this one-of-a-kind summer experience, students will be introduced to a variety of health care professions through virtual networking events, interactive discussions and topical lectures. This program will allow students the opportunity to learn more about health care careers, network with experts in their field and get important career advice from health care professionals.

The Future Focused Virtual Volunteer Program is an opportunity for high school and college students to gain access to Augusta University and all of its working parts from the safety of their home. The virtual nature of this program will also allow flexibility for students to continue to participate in extracurricular activities while gaining a lifelong experience from the leaders of a world-class medical center.

This six-week program will offer 10 virtual sessions containing a wealth of information related to health care career paths. We invite all eligible high school and college students to experience Augusta University firsthand through our Future Focused Summer Youth Virtual Volunteer Program.

The deadline to apply and submit all materials is Thursday, March 4. You can apply here.

If you have any questions or would like more information, call 706-721-3596 or email Volunteer Services and Community Engagement.
