Admissions 101 information session available for faculty and staff

Do you have a high school student interested in attending college? Are you interested in completing an undergraduate degree of your own? If so, the Office of Academic Admissions invites all Georgia Regents University and GRHealth employees to “Admissions 101,” an employee and family admissions information session.

Admissions 101 will take place on Thursday, Nov. 12, 2015 at 5:30 p.m. in University Hall Room 170 on the Summerville Campus.

“We are frequently asked questions about the admissions process by our university community as we have a diverse population that may never have gone through the college admissions process or who may not have an obvious place to turn to for guidance,” said Scott Argo, interim director of academic admissions. “Admissions employees will be on hand to assist our colleagues and their families throughout the enrollment process.”

Admissions 101 will provide an overview of the college admissions process, including how to create a college admissions timeline for the senior year, financial aid and other frequently asked questions.
