Augusta University will celebrate student and faculty innovation during the 2016 Health Sciences Education Day on Thursday, March 24 from noon to 5 p.m. in the J. Harold Harrison, MD Education Commons, Room GB 1120-D.
Two roundtable discussions will highlight best practices in instructional technology and simulation, after which dozens of students will present on innovation and scholarship in health sciences education during oral and poster presentations.
Health Sciences Education Day will conclude with an award ceremony granting Educational Innovation Institute faculty development fellowship graduates their certificates. The ceremony will also announce the recipient of the Educational Innovation Institute Scholarship Award.
This event is hosted by the Augusta University Educational Innovation Institute and Medical College of Georgia.
All Augusta University faculty, staff and students are invited to attend.
