Final Pop-Up Strategic Plan Pop-Up event today

Augusta University’s Strategic Plan, which will guide the university’s initiatives for the next four years, will be published next fall, and the teams who have been working to develop the plan are soliciting feedback from faculty, staff, students, and members of the community.

Three “Pop-Up Engagements” have been scheduled to allow stakeholders a chance to learn more about the draft Strategic Priorities and Organizational goals and find out how they can provide their input. Visitors to the “Pop-Up Engagements” will even walk away with some free swag.

Under the leadership of President Brooks Keel, Provost Gretchen Caughman and AU Medical Center CEO Lee Ann Liska, teams representing four strategic focus areas – education, research, clinical care and outreach and economic development – were charged in fall 2016 with developing the next strategic plan. Teams met during January and February to identify their recommended goals based on existing information and the input received from thousands of faculty, staff and students who participated in the Strategic Planning survey. Two town hall meetings were held in late March.

Anyone with a stake in the future of the university and health system is encouraged to stop by these “Pop-Up Engagements.”
