Karen Brown is from Augusta, and although she’s known as a lead dancer in world-renowned ballet companies, and as a world class dance educator, music was one of her earliest passions. In today’s edition of “Where I’m From” Karen Brown talks with Brenda Durant, Executive Director of The Greater Augusta Arts Council. According to Karen’s vision for the future of dance education, technology will play a major role. And, just as she launched her career as a dancer from here in Augusta, Karen’s tech-infused dance instruction techniques are being rolled out here as well.
