Augusta University’s Office of Diversity and Inclusion recently presented “Fostering Inclusivity: Examining and Dismantling Anti-Asian Discrimination and Hate in 2021.”

This panel, which includes a keynote address by ABC News anchor Juju Chang, was designed to give voice to members of our community who are of Asian descent through the sharing of stories and testimonies.

The goal of these events is to help members of the AAPI community feel seen, heard and validated on AU’s campus. The event also attempted to raise awareness and educate our community about the history of anti-Asian hate in this country, the recent upsurge, and its impact on the lives of members of the AAPI community.
