Corrina Warner, former interim vice president of finance and chief financial officer, has been named Augusta University’s vice president of finance.
Reporting to the executive vice president for finance and chief business officer, Warner will serve as chief accounting and reporting officer and carry out the mission of the university’s finance division.
As the vice president of finance, Warner assumes overall responsibility for Augusta University’s controllership functions and oversees the institution’s various financial, accounting and treasury operations.
“I recognize Corrina’s commitment to Augusta University’s values over the past two decades and to accountability and high-impact financial practice,” said Yvonne Turner, executive vice president for finance. “I look forward to her impact on the future of university finances.”
Warner began her career at Georgia Southern University as a financial aid counselor, establishing a strong foundation in the operations of higher education before moving to Augusta. She has been with Augusta University for nearly 20 years. During her tenure, she has served in various roles ranging from accountant to financial services leader, assistant controller and controller.
Warner serves as a chief accounting officer committee member for the Board of Regents and serves on the university tuition and fee, PeopleSoft steering and student enrollment planning committees.
Warner earned her bachelor’s degree in business administration from Georgia Southern University and a Master of Business Administration from Augusta University.
