Uniform Fit-Line draws over 800 employees in first two days

The Fit-Line event this week for the Uniform Branding Initiative attracted 268 employees on day one of the seven-day uniform fitting event, despite the fact that a late shipment delayed the opening until after 10 a.m. on Aug. 21. Tuesday pulled in nearly 550 participants from many different service lines, including nursing, environmental services, and facilities.

Employees have been quite surprised to be able to try on and order uniforms for the first time ever through an onsite event. The Uniform Fit-Line is set up in a large, unfinished room just outside of Institutional Effectiveness on the first floor of Professional Building 1. Every wall is filled with pop-up dressing rooms from Scrubs & More, and the inside areas are filled with racks and racks of tops, bottoms, jackets, golf shirts and other uniform items. There are also mirrors stationed around the portable fitting tents so that employees can see themselves in the uniforms while making their decisions.

The Fit-Line continues through Saturday. For more details on times, see the full story in Jagwire.
