This #JaguarNation hero drove 14 hours to help in Houston

Dr. Skon Nazarian, a fourth-year Radiology resident, was born and raised in Houston, Texas. When Hurricane Harvey struck, he didn’t waste a second on second thoughts. He knew he had to help. Taking the initiative, he rented a U-Haul and parked it in front of the Children’s Hospital of Georgia on Thursday, Aug. 31. His goal, to collect as many supplies from the Augusta community as possible.

Six hours later, the truck was full to bursting.

Now, Augusta University’s Radiology program is sending another.

Watch to find out why Skon, a Houstonian by birth, is proud to be an Augustan by choice.
