Student Veterans of America to host disability awareness event Oct. 26

The Augusta University chapter of Student Veterans of America is celebrating National Disability Employment Awareness Month with a seminar at noon Oct. 26 in the ballroom of the Jaguar Student Activities Center.

At the event, two local successful veterans with disabilities will discuss disability awareness and life after service.

The speakers are Gerald Espinal, founder of videography company 10:31 Productions LLC, and Richard Green, founder and CEO of Tech 4 Success LLC. Both served in the Army during Operation Iraqi Freedom.

Guests are asked to RSVP for the event.

Download the event flyer or email Mya Goodbee, vice president of disability services at SVA, with questions.
