State Charitable Contributions Program allows employees to tailor giving

The State Charitable Contributions Program (SCCP), the official workplace giving campaign for state employees, is currently underway and will continue until Nov. 15.

The SCCP gives employees the opportunity to individually select from over 1,300 charities, and the payroll deduction option allows donations to be deducted directly from your paycheck.

During the Wellness and Benefits fair at the GRU Wellness Center on Wednesday, Nov. 4, local charities will be on hand to talk about the services they’re providing to the community and representatives will be available to help you with the pledge form.

This year’s honorary chair, Dr. Gretchen Caughman, provost and executive vice president for academic affairs, has written a letter in support of the campaign.
