Heart Walk T-shirt deadline extended to noon Wednesday Feb. 22

Be sure to get your official Augusta University Heart Walk t-shirt before it’s too late.

This year, the official Heart Walk shirt is a unique red Augusta University “shield shirt,” and you can only order it online at the Heart Walk giving page.

Shirts are $10 for sizes Small to 3XL. The deadline has been extended to noon on Wednesday, Feb. 22. No extra shirts will be ordered after this date.

Pick up times and locations are as follows:

Monday, March 6: 1 – 5 p.m. Lee Auditorium lobby
Tuesday, March 7: 9 a.m. – 1 p.m., BC1045 (small meeting room off Lee Auditorium)
Wednesday, March 8: 1 – 5 p.m., JSAC Breezeway

The Heart Walk is the American Heart Association’s premier event for raising funds to save lives from heart disease and stroke, the nation’s No. 1 and No. 5 killers. Designed to promote physical activity and heart-healthy living, the Heart Walk creates an environment that’s fun and rewarding for the entire family.

Leading up to the event, the Augusta University community is raising funds to give back to the American Heart Association, an organization that gave more than $4.9 million to Augusta University in heart disease and stroke research funding in 2016, making us No. 1 in Georgia.
