Dr. Neil MacKinnon, Augusta University’s new provost and executive vice president for academic affairs, is joining the Office of Diversity and Inclusion‘s faculty and staff listening sessions.
ODI sponsors regular faculty and staff listening sessions as a way to assess climate and identify concerns related to forms of inequity that may be present at AU.
MacKinnon will join the upcoming sessions on March 8 and 10 to share some of his plans for advancing diversity, equity and inclusion at AU. He will also be available to listen to the thoughts and concerns of our AU community, so they can help create a vision for a more inclusive AU campus.

“My No. 1 goal at this point is to meet people, listen and listen about the institution,” said MacKinnon.
The upcoming listening sessions will be at 2 p.m. Monday, March 8 and 9 a.m. Wednesday, March 10.
