The arrival of winter weather will bring early closures and some delays to Augusta University’s campuses on Friday, Jan. 21 and Saturday, Jan. 22.
Winter weather is expected to arrive later this evening and end by 2 a.m. Saturday. The Augusta area is expected to receive up to 1 inch of snow and a light glaze of ice accumulations.
- The Jaguar Student Activities Center and the Campus Recreation Center will close at 6 p.m. Friday, Jan. 21 and open at noon Saturday, Jan. 22.
- Reese and Greenblatt libraries will close at 5 p.m. Friday and open at noon Saturday.
- Campus dining will continue as scheduled.
- Shuttles for the university and health system will continue as scheduled, with updates posted in the Passio-GO app.
Please take caution when driving in winter weather. Leave early to allow extra time and drive slower.
