Prepare for early closures, delays as winter weather approaches

The arrival of winter weather will bring early closures and some delays to Augusta University’s campuses on Friday, Jan. 21 and Saturday, Jan. 22.

Winter weather is expected to arrive later this evening and end by 2 a.m. Saturday. The Augusta area is expected to receive up to 1 inch of snow and a light glaze of ice accumulations.

Please take caution when driving in winter weather. Leave early to allow extra time and drive slower.
