The city of Augusta’s 12th annual LGBTQ pride celebration, Augusta PRIDE, will be held June 24-25 at the Augusta Common. Several Augusta University and AU-affiliated organizations will be present at PRIDE.

This week, Chris Judkins, Vignesh Sivakumar and Alec Cornu Mitchell will proudly walk across the commencement stage and become the first three students to graduate with a bachelor’s degree in cybersecurity engineering from Augusta University.
“We have really strong pediatrics across the state, but we don’t necessarily have strong mental health. So if we had a central model of mental health that started at MCG or another institution, you would be able to consult with pediatricians across the state.”
Graduation week is here and Zyare Orr, the current Mr. Augusta University, is excited to take the stage as one of the speakers of the three commencement ceremonies.
