Local Publix stores raise funds for Children’s Hospital of Georgia

Purchase a Miracle Balloon for $1, $3, or $5 at local Publix Super Markets this month, and you can help make miracles happen at Children’s Hospital of Georgia, the local Children’s Miracle Network Hospital.

The fundraising campaign will help with renovations to the Children Hospital of Georgia’s Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, where some of the tiniest babies receive life-saving care every day. Last year the six local Publix stores raised nearly $19,000 for the hospital.

Around the nation, more than 1,000 Publix stores are participating in support of 23 hospitals that are members of the Children’s Miracle Network. Publix has set a goal to exceed the nearly $3.3 million raised in 2014. Since 1992, Publix has raised more than $30 million for Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals.
