Listen: Medical students envision the future on Match Day

On this week’s episode of In the Wild, Idris Ali Amghaiab and Amanda Delgado, both fourth-year Medical College of Georgia students, celebrate Match Day by dressing up as their favorite holidays.

Match Day is an exciting annual event when medical students find out from the National Resident Matching Program where they have been accepted for residency and training positions across the country.

Amghaiab, MCG class president, shares how medical school has been challenging across the board and how his family has motivated him to keep going. Delgado advises other medical students to keep their family close and stay true to themselves to get through Match Day nerves.
