Today: Learn more about the Comprehensive Administrative Review at upcoming town halls

As President Keel shared in a previous email, the Comprehensive Administrative Review (CAR) is quickly approaching. The CAR is looking for ways that administrative functions can become more efficient and effective to enhance support for delivering the global, statewide, and local missions of USG.

Augusta University’s mission and the populations we serve are unique within the USG and our engagement in the CAR process will help us continue and further our mission to be an exceptional place to work, learn, and succeed.

Information sessions will be held to address project details and objectives. Employees are encouraged to attend one of the upcoming sessions.

The times and locations for the Town Hall meetings are:

Tuesday, August 7

Noon
Lee Auditoria Center
Health Sciences Campus

Wednesday, August 8

Noon
Maxwell Theatre
Summerville Campus

For those unable to attend one of the meetings, livestreaming of the meetings will be available.

As a final note, the CAR initiative will focus on individuals with administrative duties as a core portion of their positions ranging across a broad spectrum of functional areas.

Faculty without administrative assignments will not be included as well as those in technical or professional roles where administrative duties are very limited.

In the coming days, those who will be invited to participate will receive a notice via email with additional instruction. However, all who are interested are encouraged to attend an information session.
