Hull College offers Project Management Institute Exam Prep Course at the Georgia Cyber Center

Augusta University’s Hull College of Business is now offering a Project Management Institute Exam Prep Course at the Georgia Cyber Center. Hull College of Business is an authorized training partner for the highly coveted Project Management Professional certification.

“We are thrilled to be selected as an authorized training partner of the Project Management Institute. This allows us to provide an in-person Project Management Professional preparation course for our local business community,” said Rick Franza, PhD, dean of Augusta University’s Hull College of Business.

“This program was launched through our relationships with the Georgia Cyber Center and the local government contractor community, whose employees need this certification for their companies to bid on Department of Defense and Department of Energy contracts. However, almost every company and industry in Augusta requires certified project managers to successfully compete in their markets. The in-person course meets the 35-hour required PMP training based on the new PMP exam content. The course also provides additional Agile training and assistance with the PMP application.”

The instructor, Roger Duke, PMP, ACP and CSM, lecturer in the Hull College of Business, has more than 40 years of project management experience, is an Agile coach, has more than 10 years of PMP training experience and is an approved PMI training instructor. Duke received his PMI Project Management Professional credential in 2007, his Master of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from the University of South Carolina in 1979, and a Bachelor of Science, Mechanical Engineering, in 1977 from Auburn University.
