
Full steam ahead: McMillian is excited about new opportunities

Augusta University plans to expand its animation program to include an additional 21 faculty members in the Department of Art and Design, which will make it possible to attract about 400 more animation students in the coming years.

“Dr. Johnson’s commitment to the pro bono clinic is changing patients’ lives and impacting our PT students who have the opportunity to participate in the care of this underserved population,’ said Colleen Hergott, DPT, chair of the Department of Physical Therapy.

“I wasn’t even sure I would be a good tutor, but it was a good opportunity to earn a little bit of steady money around my school schedule,” said Samantha Atkinson.

“As a nurse, the reason why I do what I do is I want to be able to look at you in in the hospital and I know that I prepared you to be a nurse.”
