Guest lecture focuses on end-of-life communication

The Medical College of Georgia’s Leadership through Ethics (LTE) program and the Center for Bioethics and Health Policy will host a guest lecture from Dr. Kathleen Benton on her recently published book, The Skill of End-of-Life Communication for Clinicians.

The lecture will be at noon on Friday, Oct. 13 in room EC1204 of the Health Sciences Building on the Health Sciences Campus.

Benton is the director of clinical ethics and palliative care at St. Joseph’s/Candler. She has authored and reviewed many publications relevant to the topics of palliative care, ethics, hospice and communication.

The lecture is open to all Augusta University faculty, staff and students.
