Georgia Regents University will celebrate Homecoming Feb. 16-21 with a week-long celebration for students and alumni.
Prowl’d to be a Jaguar is the theme for this year’s celebration, which includes the Jaguar Jam tailgate and bonfire, a virtual scavenger hunt, and a variety show.
Highlighting this year’s events will be the CBS Sports Network televised game between the GRU men’s basketball team and Lander University at noon Saturday, Feb. 21, 2015 from GRU’s Christenberry Fieldhouse.
The National Collegiate Athletic Association will live stream the game on NCAA.com and the NCAA Sports mobile app.
To make sure alumni and Jaguar fans living in Savannah and Atlanta get in on the action, GRU will be hosting two Alumni Basketball Watch Parties in those cities from 11:30a.m.- 2:30 p.m.
In Savannah, the game will be aired at B & D Burgers Bar and Grill located at 209 W. Congress Street and, for those in Atlanta, the program will be shown in Taco Mac on 685 Crossville Rd. Ste. 146 in Roswell, Ga. To RSVP for for these parties, email alumni@gru.edu or call 706-737-1759.
