We are pleased to announce the rollout of new personalized Total Compensation Statements for all hired employees of Georgia Regents Medical Center. The initial statement will include salary earned in calendar year 2015, along with contributions GRMC made on your behalf to various employer-provided benefit programs. While salary is typically well known, sometimes other benefits and services may be far less visible to or known by our employees. The Total Compensation Statement details the value of your total compensation and benefits package and displays our commitment and investment in each of you!
Launch Date
Total Compensation Statements will be mailed to your home address in February, 2016. You will also be able to view your statement in HI Employee Self Service located on the PAWS main page.
What is Total Compensation?
Your salary, benefits plus Paid Time Off make up your total compensation from GRMC. Our goal is to provide our dedicated and hardworking staff with a comprehensive total compensation package that rewards their commitment to our mission and helps us attract and retain the highest caliber of talent.
Human Resources encourages everyone to review the information carefully and discuss it with your family. This information will allow them to also understand the benefits provided to them as members of your family.
How to Read Your Statement
The comprehensive statement will include your name and job title as well as a listing of your compensation and benefits for 2015 – including: the employer contribution towards medical, life insurance, short and long-term disability, as well as health savings accounts, retirement, employment taxes and compensation. Paid Time Off will show hours accrued as of the date when the report was submitted to run. To see up-to-date PTO information, employees would need to refer to their paycheck. There will also be a pie chart at the end of the statement showing the percentage of your total compensation by category (i.e. health, HSA, Retirement, taxes, salary, etc.).
A description of the Total Compensation Statement along with instructions on “Understanding Your Compensation Statement” will be available on the GRMC Benefits webpage prior to the mailing of the statements.
