Forest Hills named best golf course

Forest Hills Golf Course at Augusta University was recently voted Augusta’s Best golf course by Augusta Magazine readers.

Forest Hills has repeatedly won “Best of Augusta,” and it’s easy to see why: Designed by a world-renowned course architect, Donald Ross, and later renovated by the Arnold Palmer Company, Forest Hills offers “traditional Southern topography with level, rolling fairways surrounded by magnificent trees.”

“The staff at Forest Hills is extremely honored to receive this award again this year,” said Dan Elliott, Forest Hills’ head golf professional and general manager. “It is a reflection of the hard work and dedication to excellence practiced by the staff every day.  Along with this award, Forest Hills has recently been named Metro’s Best by the readers of Metro’s Best publication as well.”

Winners will be announced in the October issue of Augusta Magazine, and there will be a Best of Augusta Celebration hosted at Sacred Heart Cultural Center.
