EVS teams are vital to fight against COVID-19

To promote healing, hospitals need to provide an infection-free environment. Environmental Services, or EVS, is essential to this effort at Augusta University Health.

EVS team members offer more than just “housekeeping,” or cleaning floors, rooms and bathrooms. EVS team members are on the front lines of infection prevention every day. We salute our EVS team at Augusta University Health System, examples of #OurAUHeroes who are fighting against COVID-19.

We also salute our Augusta University EVS team, whose members are working to keep our campus buildings safe and clean to support our academic missions of education and research during the COVID-19 crisis. You are #OurAUHeroes, and we thank you for all you do to create and maintain a safe environment for all of us!
