Performers needed for Noon Arts Concert

Have a talent and would like to show it off to a wider audience? The Noon Arts Concert is for you. The concert will take place from noon to 1 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 31, at Lee Auditorium on the Health Sciences Campus and is presented by the Augusta University Arts Council.

Students, faculty and staff are welcome to participate and attend the concert, which has been ongoing since 2001.

Can you play a musical instrument? Have dance moves? Want to sing or recite poetry? Here’s your chance to show off at the Noon Arts Concert.

“I love the Noon Arts Concerts. I feel they bring such a great opportunity for the staff, students and faculty among our campuses to showcase such a wide variety of performing arts talent! Not to mention, it’s a great opportunity to get out of the office or class for a nice lunch break,” said Jessica Cooley, director of business operations in Enrollment & Student Affairs.

The concert is free, but attendees are asked to bring a donation for the Open Paws student food pantry, which will enter them into a drawing.

The deadline to sign up is Friday, Oct. 6, and those interested should email Jessica Cooley.
