The Council for the Association for Politics and the Life Sciences has voted to designate Dr. Gregg Murray as editor-in-chief for the Cambridge University Press journal Politics and the Life Sciences.
His official term will start with Volume 39 and will span three volumes of the journal.
A biannual, interdisciplinary peer-reviewed journal, Politics and the Life Sciences covers topics like evolutionary and laboratory insights into political behavior, evolutionary analysis of political intolerance and violence, philosophical analysis of bioethical controversies and more.
With a global audience, Dr. Murray will be collaborating with contributors including political scientists, political psychologists, life scientists, clinicians, health-policy scholars, bioethicists, moral and evolutionary philosophers and legal scholars among many other experts.
Dr. Murray is a professor of Political Science in the Department of Social Sciences, in the Pamplin College of Arts, Humanities, and Social Sciences, with research focusing on political behavior.
