Dr. Coule explains the difference between COVID-19 and antibody tests

As researchers work to better understand the scope of the COVID-19 pandemic locally, Augusta University Health is now conducting antibody testing to detect whether people have previously been exposed to coronavirus and developed antibodies against it.

But how is an antibody test different from the COVID-19 test? AU Health’s Chief Medical Officer Dr. Phillip Coule breaks it all down in this video.
