Dental College of Georgia student elected national vice president of ASDA

Alexandra Howell, a dental student at the Dental College of Georgia at Augusta University, has recently been elected national vice president of the American Student Dental Association (ASDA) during the organization’s annual meeting last week in Anaheim, California.

Howell has previously served as District 4 trustee on ASDA’s Board as well as president, vice president and publications chair of the local Georgia Chapter at Augusta University.

Having also served as Student Professionalism and Ethics Association social chair and event coordinator for Give Kids a Smile, Howell proves her passion for volunteerism and serving others through the multiple organizations she engages with.

Last year, Abby Halpern was elected as ASDA’s Speaker of the House of Delegates at the annual meeting in Orlando.
