Consignment sale will benefit Children’s Hospital

AUGUSTA, Ga. – Find some bargain buys and support a worthy cause at the annual Consign for Kids sale, a fundraiser for the Children’s Hospital of Georgia. Public sale hours are 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday, March 21, and noon to 6 p.m. Sunday, March 22, at Stevens Creek Elementary School, 3780 Evans to Locks Road.

Consignment and donated items for sale will include clothing for the family, housewares, furniture, and accessories. In addition, various vendors will be selling handmade crafts and commercial goods.

All proceeds will go directly to CHOG, the area’s only children’s hospital. The money will be used to purchase equipment for units, including the Pediatric and Neonatal Intensive Care Units. Funds will also be used for video game systems, toys, movies, and arts and craft supplies that make the hospital more kid-friendly for patients and families.
