It’s a new year, full of new possibilities. But before we step into the future, we encourage you to join us as we take a look back.
In 2016, we officially welcomed President Brooks Keel and launched the new Augusta University name and brand.
Our students found a new home with the opening of two new residence halls, known collectively as Jaguar Park.
We traveled to the summer Olympic Games with Augusta University alumnus and volunteer cross-country coach Pardon Ndhlovu as he competed in the marathon.
We charted new territory as researchers uncovered an algorithm which may solve human intelligence.
We inaugurated a state-of-the-art cyber facility and hosted CIA Director John Brennan and NSA Deputy Director Richard Ledgett as part of the two-day Cyber Georgia event.
We raised $1.2 million for our children’s hospital during the annual Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals Celebration.
Our hospital welcomed a new CEO and celebrated major victories in our journey to build Columbia County’s first hospital.
We’re excited for the year ahead and all the ways Jaguar Nation will continue changing the world – one paw at a time – in 2017. Happy New Year from Augusta University!
