Center for Patients and Families modifies holiday event schedule

Updated Dec. 14: In an effort to keep staff and the community safe, the Center for Patients and Families has modified the holiday events set for this week.

The Wrapped in Love free gift wrapping service set for Dec. 17 has been canceled. The first 30 people who registered online will still receive a $25 gift card as well as a roll of wrapping paper. Those who registered will be notified.

The Twelve Hours of Giving event will continue from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Dec. 17, with names being drawn from a list of all employees. Arrangements will be made for winners to receive their gifts safely. See a full list of gifts: Twelve Hours of Giving Gift List Flyer

The holiday card signing event has been canceled, but the Center for Patients and Families’ Comfort and Joy! blanket gift project will go on as scheduled. Contact Katie Lawhead to help deliver blankets to adult inpatients at 1 p.m. Monday, Dec. 21.

Thank you for your understanding and support as we navigate a very different holiday season. For more information, email Regina Winters or call 706-721-9802.
