The following information is an update for faculty, staff and students on additional changes related to Parking & Transportation, Dining and other campus services during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Parking – All curbside parking on Spellman Street has been suspended in support of residence hall move-out. Lots 1 and 5 will be open for general use during move-out through Sunday, March 29.

Transportation – The Green, Lot 55 Express, Silver 1 and Silver 2 JagExpress shuttle routes will continue with the normal service schedule. The JagExpress Blue and Gold shuttle routes will be suspended until further notice, as will the Sunday Lot 55 service. Students and employees who typically use the Gold Route service may park on the top level of Deck 8 (first two levels are reserved) at 1250 R.A. Dent Blvd.

Students who remain in housing at Oak/Elm Hall and need a Blue Route ride should call the Parking & Transportation office at 706-721-PARK for assistance, and courtesy rides can be requested between the hours of 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. Monday-Friday only.

Student Dining – Atrium Dining will suspend operations after dinner is served Friday, March 20. Students with a swipe meal plan who remain in housing will be provided a daily box lunch and box dinner. These meals will be delivered to Oak Hall for pick-up. Students with a declining balance can visit the Subway location on Harper Street for take-out.

Due to limits on hospital access, Terrace Dining is no longer available for use by students. The Education Commons Café will remain open for normal operating hours for students and employees working in the J. Harold Harrison, MD, Education Commons.

JagStore – Both the Summerville and Health Sciences JagStore locations will provide online and telephone-based service only. The process for spring textbook return is being updated and will be shared when it is finalized. JagStore staff will be available for faculty via phone to help navigate the summer term textbook adoption process. The Scrubs and Beyond store will utilize its alternate entrance on the Health Sciences Campus for the next few weeks.

Copy Center – The Copy Center will be accepting online and emailed job submissions only. Processing, printing and delivery of orders will continue. However, please note that production requests related to the medical center’s COVID-19 response efforts will take priority.

We appreciate your continued patience as we operate during unique times amid COVID-19.
