Bring your ID to the fair this Sunday and get in for free

Jaguar Nation’s response to the free fair tickets for Sunday’s Augusta University Day at the Fair was staggering.

In a matter of days, our faculty, staff and students picked up 2.000 tickets.

Two thousand tickets.

Today, we’ve heard from several frustrated people who tried to pick up tickets, only to find them already snapped up.

Thanks to the further generosity of the Augusta Exchange Club, the local philanthropic organization that runs the fair and donated the original group of tickets, Augusta University faculty, staff and students who were unable to pick up their family tickets will be able to get their family into the fair on Sunday, Oct. 16, with their valid Augusta University ID.

That’s right: any Augusta University student or employee who would like to take their family to the fair on Sunday, Oct. 16, can show their Augusta University ID and they will be treated as though they have a family pass.

So let’s all go to the fair on Augusta University Day this Sunday, flash our IDs and thank the Augusta Exchange Club for being so flexible and generous.
