Augusta University’s Brittany Cipollone to join Emerging Leaders Program

The Society for College and University Planning has invited Brittany Cipollone, senior planning and assessment coordinator for Augusta University’s Division of Institutional Effectiveness, to join its Emerging Leaders Program.

The Society for College and University Planning is a professional organization that connects and educates planners within professional fields and higher education. SCUP defines integrated planning as “a sustainable approach to planning that builds relationships, aligns the organization, and emphasizes preparedness for change.” Through a variety of resources and educational experiences, SCUP helps professionals employ best practices and promote a culture of integrated planning within their own institutions.

Cipollone said she is thankful for the encouragement and support from her peers.

“I am very grateful for my division’s support to apply for the program and for being a selected member for this professional development opportunity,” she said.

“The program will help me to become more involved in SCUP and grow professionally,” she said. “I look forward to gaining knowledge and tools for my Integrated Planning Toolbox, so that I can further support Augusta University’s integrated planning process and its success. Networking is also a key component of the program. I will be able to interact with other professionals in the realm of higher education, learn how other institutions are effectively implementing tools and processes, and then customize application for Augusta University’s advancement.”
