Augusta University to hold annual holiday tree lighting

Make your family’s holiday season merry and bright by attending the 2018 Lighting of the Tree ceremony.  Co-presented by Augusta University and the Summerville Neighborhood Association, this annual holiday tree lighting event will be held at 6 p.m. Dec. 4 on the university’s Summerville Campus in front of the Maxwell Theatre.

Festivities include ice skating, caroling, holiday crafts, trolley rides across campus, food trucks and refreshments. And for those on the “nice list,” Santa has cleared some time in his busy schedule to make a personal appearance.

Admission is free. For more information, call 706-737-1451 or email
