U.S. News & World Report has named the top universities in the world and Augusta University is in the top half of more than 2,000 ranked universities.
The ninth-annual ranking considered a variety of factors including the school’s academic research and reputation for undergraduate and graduate programs.
U.S. News analyzed data and metrics provided by global analytics company Clarivate. Those metrics included student-to faculty ratio, education and education research, number of degrees awarded, and several other research performance indicators.
“To be featured in the top half of universities worldwide is a significant achievement for Augusta University and speaks to our broad-based strength,” said Augusta University President Brooks A. Keel, PhD.
“I always say that we have world-class students, faculty and staff here at Augusta University, and this recognition only adds credence to that.
