Augusta University president to join Gov. Kemp in COVID-19 briefing Thursday at state capitol

Augusta University President Brooks A. Keel, PhD, will take part in Georgia Gov. Brian Kemp’s briefing on COVID-19 at 3:30 p.m. Thursday, May 7, at the North Wing of the Georgia State Capitol.

Also giving updates at the briefing will be Georgia Department of Public Health Commissioner Dr. Kathleen Toomey, Georgia Emergency Management and Homeland Security Agency Director Homer Bryson and Georgia National Guard Adjutant General Tom Carden.

The briefing will be live streamed on Gov. Kemp’s Facebook page and on GPB’s COVID-19 site.
