The Center for Patients and Families at Augusta University Health has introduced two initiatives, Care Collaborative and E3: Culture Transformation, to enhance the patient and family experience.

Care Collaborative offers training to all AU Health employees on various ways to interact with patients, including how to answer patient call lights and conduct patient rounds. E3: Culture Transformation coaches staff on how to use emotional intelligence and empathy in their communication, especially when using the Augusta University Medical Center’s service models AIDET and ACT.

Both courses are now available. Go to HealthStream to sign up for E3: Culture Transformation and call the Center for Patient and Families at 706-721-7322 to sign up for a Care Collaborative inservice.
