Augusta students take top honors in Chapter Challenge

Augusta University’s student chapter of the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners was presented with the Chapter of Excellence Award and $500 from the international organization’s Georgia chapter for their outstanding achievement and commitment. The award is given to the student chapter who earns the most points in the Chapter Challenge, where points are earned through activities such as student attendance at state chapter meetings and professional networking events, increased membership and scholarship applicants, improved social media presence, and more.

Competitors included the ACFE student chapters at Columbus State, Georgia Southern, Georgia State, and Mercer universities.

Student officers at time of award include: Cora Gwinn, president; Remy Lucas, vice president; Amanda Weng, treasurer; Vannecia Glenn, membership secretary; and Amy Richardson, communications secretary.
