AU Faculty Club awards 2018-2019 scholarship recipients

The Augusta University Faculty Club has awarded five health science students with scholarships for the 2018-2019 academic year. Applicants are chosen based on financial need, service to others and academic promise.

To be considered, students need to be current who are continuing their studies during the next academic year and nominated by their college deans.

The scholarship awardees for the 2018-2019 academic year are:

Mary-Kate Hunnicutt, College of Allied Health Sciences
Jessica Stewart, The Graduate School
Carly Egan, Dental College of Georgia
Ijeoma Okoye, Medical College of Georgia
Tina Collins, College of Nursing

The AU Faculty Club was started in 1977 and its members have been able to provide meaningful scholarships for outstanding students through fundraising events, donation campaigns and memorial gifts.

This year’s scholarship committee’s co-chairs were Ms. Carol Giardina and Dr. Pamela Hayward. They worked with club members Dr. Carol Lapp, Mrs. Donna Trainor, Mrs. Barbara Riffle and Ms. Josette Kubicki to select the scholarship awardees.

Congratulations, students! Way to Bring Your A Game!
