AU Baseball hosts USCA Pacers in baseball border bash at SRP Park

The Augusta University baseball team hosts the University of South Carolina Aiken Pacers for a single game Thursday, March 28, at SRP Park, with first pitch scheduled for 6:35 p.m.

Tickets go on sale to the general public at the SRP Park Box Office today.

The event is a unique opportunity to give student-athletes and coaches a first-class playing experience, Director of Athletics Clint Bryant said. “I really appreciate the opportunity afforded to AU Baseball by the GreenJackets organization.”

Seated along the Savannah River, SRP Park is home to the Augusta GreenJackets and was voted the best minor league ballpark in 2018. The game between AU-USC offers an opportunity for the public to visit the park in advance of the Greenjackets 2019 opener on April 15.

Gates open at 5:30 p.m. and $1 from every ticket purchased will go to benefit the USC Aiken Baseball Program after their team bus caught on fire damaging gear, personal items and equipment.

Augusta University and USCA will play their regularly scheduled Peach Belt Conference series April 5-7 in Aiken, S.C., at Roberto Hernandez Stadium.

Tickets are $4 for students with ID. Lower Bowl tickets are $6, while Wow! Club and MurphyAdvantage.com Club tickets are $13. Visit the SRP Box Office to buy your ticket today.
