Annual Student Service Member Day coming Sept. 21

Augusta University will be hosting its annual Student Service Member Day, celebrating student soldiers, sailors and airmen and women. The event will take place on Friday, Sept. 21, in the JSAC Coffeehouse on the Summerville Campus. It is open to all students, faculty, staff and family members and will have a ceremony and refreshments for those honored.

The keynote speaker will be Dr. Tom Clark, executive director of the Alliance for Fort Gordon. Clark joined the Alliance for Fort Gordon after serving 32 years in the United States Army and five years as a training manager for General Dynamics Mission Systems.
