Admissions extends application and deposit deadlines

To support students starting their journey at Augusta University in the fall, the Office of Academic Admissions has decided to extend its undergraduate application and deposit deadlines.

Applications are still being accepted until further notice, and enrollment deposits will be accepted as long as space is available. There are no firm dates for either deadline at this time. These extensions were made after careful consideration, in light of the financial and transitional challenges brought about by the COVID-19 pandemic.

Jacqueline Duca, director of Academic Admissions, hopes these extensions will help students who are still deciding their next steps.

“The pandemic brought about a lot of changes in perspective — for example, many students are now more interested in staying closer to home,” says Duca. “So we’re hoping that these extensions will give students in the CSRA an opportunity to learn more about AU and consider learning closer to home.”

Academic Admissions has scheduled a virtual Undergraduate Preview Day for June 24 to share the university with prospective students before the new semester arrives.

Prospective students who have questions about the admissions process should email Admissions or contact an admissions counselor.
