Fall semester is an exciting time at Augusta University as students return to campus, including welcoming the new freshman class. It’s a time of celebration as students, faculty and staff all participate in welcome events like the Fall Kickoff, move-in week and Freshman Convocation, just to name a few.
It’s also the time when Augusta University employees are invited to show their Jaguar pride by supporting programs and initiatives they are passionate about through IGIVE, the annual Augusta University employee giving campaign.
Whether you want to fight food insecurity by giving to the Open Paws Pantry, support scholarships through Augusta Promise, invest in the future translational research building or give to any other AU fund, IGIVE offers you several opportunities and locations to support what inspires you.
“I am thrilled to join Augusta University as we prepare for the kickoff of the upcoming IGIVE employee campaign,” remarked Jeff Snow, AU’s new executive vice president for Philanthropy and Alumni Engagement.

This year, IGIVE begins on Tuesday, Sept. 9, and runs through Tuesday, Oct. 31. Also, this year, AU is bringing back the two evening events to accommodate third-shift workers and make it easier for all AU employees to participate.
“IGIVE is a wonderful opportunity for faculty and staff to support areas on campus that are meaningful to them,” Snow said. “Their contributions provide valuable resources that impact the experience of our students and send a message to external constituents that AU employees believe in the university’s mission so much that they personally give back.”
As in past years, there will be music, food and an exclusive IGIVE T-shirt for AU employees when you stop by and make or renew your gifts and pledges. Mark your calendar for the dates below and join a celebration event near you.
“I look forward to visiting each campus and meeting the team members who give so much to this university and its students every day,” Snow said. “I have experienced a glimpse of the passion of the administration, faculty and staff during my initial visits, and I am excited to be a part of this amazing institution. I invite everyone to join this wonderful AU tradition and participate in this year’s IGIVE employee campaign. Go Jags!”
