Children's Hospital of Georgia, iHeartMedia and News 12/NBC26 staff celebrate a record amount raised at the 2019 Cares for Kids Radiothon.

The 19th annual Cares for Kids Radiothon was held on Dec. 5-7 at the Children’s Hospital of Georgia. On Saturday, it was announced that this year’s Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals fundraiser brought in $255,187.19 in donations and pledges, the most ever received in the Radiothon’s history.

Cares for Kids Radiothon is the largest single CMN Hospitals fundraiser for Children’s Hospital of Georgia.

Area iHeartMedia radio stations 104.3 WBBQ, 96.3 KISS-FM, 105.7 The Bull and television partners News 12/NBC 26 joined together over three days in support of Children’s, asking listeners to call in and become “miracle makers” for the area’s only children’s hospital.

Pledges to Children’s can be made year-round. Call 706-721-4004 or email castewart@augusta.edu for more information.
